Our centre is located in Woodford, on Church Lane just off the A5102 Wilmslow Road, Cheshire.
DEAN VALLEY MUST ONLY BE ACCESSED OFF THE A 5102 FROM ANY DIRECTION. THERE IS NO ACCESS VIA MOOR LANE. CHURCH LANE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR HGV VEHICLES ACCESSING FROM MOOR LANE.
Directions
From the South via M6
- Leave M6 at junction 18
- Head for Holmes Chapel via A54.
- Once in Holmes Chapel take the A535 to Alderley Edge.
(At Chelford roundabout, if you have an HGV we recommend that you turn right, continuing on to the Monk’s Heath)
- Traffic Lights, then turn left to Alderley Edge) Your directions then follow on to the A34.
- At T junction (with triangle) at Alderley Edge, turn left on to the A34.
- At roundabout, turn right onto dual carriageway (still A34).
- At 3rd roundabout turn left off dual carriageway and turn right at roundabout sign posted to Dean Row, Woodford & Poynton.
- Straight over traffic lights.
- 1st roundabout go straight over.
- 2nd roundabout turn left & go past a petrol station and the Unicorn Pub.
- 3rd roundabout turn left (sign posted Poynton – Chester Road, A5102).
- The Deanwater Hotel is on the left at the bottom of the hill.
- Go up the hill, turn left opposite the Church, at the bollards, down Church Lane.
- (If you reach the Davenport Arms and a petrol station you have gone too far!)
- Dean Valley can be found ¼ mile on the left down Church Lane.
- (if you prefer you can proceed to the M56 and follow the directions below. This would be from junction 19 at Knutsford where you will see signs to Manchester Airport)
From the M56
- Leave M56 at junction 5.
- (as you pass junction 6 get into the inside lane)
- Follow signs for Manchester Airport Terminal 1. (Overhead Signpost all most hidden on second bridge only 50 yds apart from 1st bridge)
- Follow the signs for the A555 to Wilmslow and Wythenshawe.
- Continue on A555 to Bramhall. Take the slip road, keeping to right hand side, turn right(A5102) at the traffic lights.
- Continue to the mini roundabout, turn right on to A5102.
- Proceed to roundabout passing garden centre on right, go straight ahead.
- When you see Woodford Church on your left, and the Davenport Arms on your right, indicate right
- Turn right into Church Lane, Dean Valley Equestrian Centre is about 1/4 of a mile on your left hand side just passed the terraced houses on the left.
- Turn left up drive (there is a lamppost on the turning), continue straight ahead to the parking and show ground.
- You have arrived!
From the North via M60
- Leave M60 at junction 3
- Head for Cheadle, Wilmslow & Congleton via A34.
- Straight over the 1st set of traffic lights.
- Carry on, while on dual carriageway you will pass Sainsbury’s & John Lewis on the right.
- At 1st roundabout go straight across.
- At 2nd roundabout go straight across (you will see B&Q on your right).
- At 3rd roundabout turn left signposted Poynton (still dual carriageway).
- At roundabout at the end of the dual carriageway turn right towards Poynton and Woodford.
- At mini roundabout turn right to Woodford (Chester Road, A5102).
- Go past Barton Grange Garden Centre on the right.
- When you see Woodford Church on your left, and the Davenport Arms on your right, indicate right
- Turn right into Church Lane, Dean Valley Equestrian Centre is about 1/4 of a mile on your left hand side just passed the terraced houses on the left.
- Turn left up drive (there is a lamp post on the turning), continue straight ahead to the parking and show ground.
